Gene Ducote

Gene Ducote (formerly Gene Johnson) is the author of the book
"Getting to Know the Bengal Cat". As Gogees Cattery, she has been raising
and exhibiting Bengal Cats since 1987, and is one of the founding members of
The International Bengal Cat Society. She serves in an advisory capacity on
that board as well as on several others regarding the Bengal breed.
Gene has made a major contribution to the
breed in Europe by importing many quality cats to European breeders. She, her
new husband Ken, and various feline friends reside in Louisiana, USA.

Jean Mill

Jean Mill (formerly Jean Sugden) is the founder of the Bengal cat breed, and a key player in the breed's subsequent
development. She has been involved with hybridising Asian Leopard cats from as early as 1963, though the modern Bengal originates from Jean’s breeding programme of 1975. She lives in, Covina, California, USA, where she runs the Millwood cattery.

Anne Randall

Anne Randall is Welfare Officer for the Bengal Cat Club of Great Britain
and is on the European Bengal Cat Club committee. She is also a member of the Bengal
breed advisory board for the GCCF. She breeds 'Llandar' Bengals
and runs a cattery in Berkshire, England together with her husband, Mike.

Henry Ritson is responsible for the technical building and maintenance, and graphic design
of bengalcat.co.uk . Yes, the yellow is all his fault. He is an experienced web developer,
working for UUNET, the world's first and largest Internet
provider, and is regularly quoted in the British national and IT press on Internet issues.
He currently resides in the South East of England, with 2 Bengals.

Claire Robson is a writer and journalist with a lifelong love of animals.
She has been involved with, and writing about Bengals since 1992, (including
writing for the East Anglia Bengal Cat Club before it grew into the
Bengal Cat Club of Great Britain). She has no commercial involvement
in the cat world so as to maintain a totally impartial editorial stance in her
work.

Els Smits

Mrs Els Smits of Tilburg, is the European Bengal Cat Club representative for Holland.
She breeds and shows her 'Indra Cats' Bengals in Holland, where she emphasises
socialisation and temperament whilst introducing a wider variety of Bengal bloodlines
into the country.
