Cat's name - Tikka, or Tikka belly depending on how tarty she's being!
Pedigree name - Adwelsh Tikka
Owned by - Rob & Susan Ellis
Country - England
|
|
We foolishly tried to train Tikka not to attack the furniture by squirting
her with a water gun, unfortunately she seemed to really enjoy a good
soaking and now begs to be watered straight into her mouth rather than
drinking from her bowl! Tikka is so affectionate, especially in the
garden, she makes it very hard to walk as she throws herself on her back
right in front of you, or insists on sitting parrot like on your shoulders
much to the amusement of the neighbours.

Cat's name - Elmo
Pedigree name - Llandar Cavalier
Owned by - Claire Robson & Henry Ritson
Country - England
|
|
Cat's homepage - http://www.bengalcat.co.uk/ourpets/elmo.htm
Not so much a case of "reader's cats" as Editor and Webmaster's cat. Elmo is such
a lovely cat, he is, in part, the inspiration for building this web site at all.
He was just a kitten in this photo.

Cat's name - Sissy
Pedigree name - Bengoria Lil Miss Sissy Lot O Spots
Owned by - Tamara Hutzler
Country - USA (Tennessee)
|
|
Cat's homepage - http://www.hutzlair.com/
Sissy is almost two years old and has taught my other 6 cats, and my
husband and me for that matter, who is boss! If she is not given at least
1/3 of our king size bed, we are not allowed to sleep! She walks all over
us, nips at our hands and generally makes herself a nuisance. If the litter
box is not cleaned to her standards, she sits beside it and cries. She has
a unique personality and we love her dearly!!

|
Cat's name - Ringaling
Pedigree name - Llandar Ringlette
Owned by - Mike & Anne Randall
Country - England
|
|
Cat's homepage - http://www.llandar.co.uk/
Ringaling is a very pretty marble girl that we have started to show. At
shows she is a very good girl but at home she is very naughty. She loves
climbing trees - but can't get down! She helps us cook our dinner and to eat
it, but never helps with the washing-up.

Cat's name - Elmer (and Mookie)
Pedigree name - Aluren Ashantee (and Mukhtar)
Owned by - Barbara Sonek
Country - USA (NY)
|
|
Cat's homepage - http://www.bway.net/~starlite/boyspage.htm
These cats have a web page which they share with a parrot, and an orange tabby
named Nussman. Our house will never be quiet again with these bundles of activity. They
have found things that were lost for years, and are masters of curiosity.
Elmer knows how to pry open the plastic lid of a coffee can to get some
food which he knows is stored there, while Mookie insists upon drinking
from the water faucet in the kitchen. They are tons of fun, very lovable
and action machines!

Cat's name - Jaspurr
Owned by - Dorothy & Marshall Williams
Country - USA
|
|
Cat's homepage - http://doofus.ml.org/cat.html
I'm Jaspurr! I'm a hyper little kitten with insatiable curiosity. My
girlfriend is a 5 foot long iguana named Beastie (I love snuggling
her). I'm fascinated by flushing toilets, though I fell in the other
day.
The rest of the time I'm a regular goofball, running around like a
maniac and getting into EVERYTHING (I even try to get under people at
mealtimes to see if I can swipe a paw over the plate and get a goodie,
just like my older brother Feinman!

Cat's name - Jaguara
Pedigree name - Sundarbans Clover Girl
Owned by - Stina de Graaf
Country - The Netherlands
|
|
Jaguara is a marble Bengal. She is youngest of the cats (born 6 June 1997),
but she sees to it that the other two (Lynn, an Abyssinian lady, and Tigi, a
Norwegian Forest boy) exercise every day. Fortunately, this leaves her
enough time to do her own exercises meanwhile producing all sorts of funny
noises. Her favourite pastime is chasing bumblebees in the garden. Although
she has been stung in the nose once she can't help doing this.
She is very clever and stays in the garden. She knows very well that she has
to go indoors as soon as she disappears into our neighbours' garden.
Occasionally she "rakes" the pond, making huge waves.
She talks a lot, is always good-humoured and wants to join in with each of
the family, man or cat, in whatever activity. She is very beautiful and a
little mad!

Cat's name - Eve
Pedigree name - Bulubaharu Bramblewood Eve
Owned by - Peter & Christine Edwards
Country - UK
|
|
Cat's homepage - http://members.aol.com/Edwards43
This Bengal is Bulubaharu Bramblewood Eve. At various times in the year she lives in
one of our garden runs. One of her most useful tricks is to scream at the
herons who greedily eye the fish in our koi pond so up until now they haven't
landed. However she met her match one evening when she encountered 3 noisy
ducks which decided to pay a visit. They weren't put off at all and when they
went to investigate where the noise as coming from she beat a hasty retreat
into her chalet!

Cat's name - Zoey
Pedigree name - Leopardlane Zoey
Owned by - Terry & Amery Ray
Country - USA
|
|
Cat's homepage - http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Estates/3485/zoeybrag.html
Miss Zoey (or 'stinky' to her friends) is a young marble Bengal (born March 1997) who lives with Sashi and Winter, two siamese cats.
Zoey loves playing in water, and is absolutely fearless. Zoey's Indian name is "Eats All Dry Food". We have to give out the
Eukanuba Dry food in portions, with each cat getting her own portion,
because Miss Zoey has decided that if food is present, she will sit
there and eat it ALL!! One time she ate so much, she finished the last
morsel, took two steps and collapsed on the floor, laying on her side,
not getting up for about an hour. Nonetheless, she is the sweetest cat
and loves to lay on Mommy's quilt batting, kneading her paws and it and
purring simultaneously. We call it "making bread". © Photograph

Hunter is a wonderful male bengal kitten. He is glittered and pelted,
and has the most loving purrsonality. He is four and half months old
with spots that are large and wide
spaced. Some are even the desired arrowhead. He likes to curl up in my
arms to sleep when I am trying to use the computer.
